Constructed of silvered and patinated zink, the obverse consisting of a central winged arrow, inside of a laurel wreath with a swastika at the bottom, flanked on each side by nine richly detailed oak leaves, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked G. H. OSANG, DRESDEN, measuring 77. 01 mm (w) x 26. 15 mm (h), weighing 17. 6 grams, evidence of repair to the catch
