I didn't think too much about this small hand-stitched Pennsylvania doll quilt when I scooped it

The closest matches to these I've found are French

together with a sort of God's Eye at the center

Meaning I didn't get out much but rather spent my time pumping and water vacuuming and otherwise trying to drain it and dry things out

with cotton backing

She was made as a jig doll, with a hole in her back into which a dowel would be inserted in order to hold her up and set her dancing and she's quite a dancer indeed, with every joint limber and every inch of her just waiting to move.
